1. READ THE PRESENTER'S AGREEMENT. DOWNLOAD HERE. You need to know what you can or can't do with our products and the marketing of them. Younique Presenter Agreement. Do not post your website or message people looking for more information on the corporate Younique FB page or another Presenter's page/group. Corporate distributes leads as they see fit and posting your website on another Presenter's page is just bad taste.
Also, you CANNOT sell Younique products on 3rd party websites like Ebay, Craigslist, StoreEnvy, an online Boutique etc... It is against company policies. If Presenters are involved they get one strike warning. If they don't act immediately is grounds for termination." I don't want anyone in my downline to lose out because they violated this! If you see someone advertising products on those sites, please email the information to compliance@youniqueproducts.com. There is no need to contact the presenter in question.
2. LOG INTO YOUR WEBSITE. www.youniqueproducts.com/yourname. Take a little time to get familiar with the site and the products.
3. START YOUR FIRST OPEN PARTY. Make sure you go to YOUR website (not just the corporate site). Login and click on "my office" and then click on "parties I'm hosting". For this party choose yourself as the host-- this will be the link you're going to send those who are intersested in purchasing. Any products you order, make sure you order them through your party. Before you set up your first party, read through our ONLINE PARTY TIPS. Make sure to invite EVERYONE to your launch party!! Encourage your friends and customers to book parties!! If you need ideas, join another Presenter's party. There's no ONE way to do it- find what works for you and go for it.
4. MARKET YOUR BUSINESS ON FACEBOOK. If you want you can CREATE A BUSINESS FACEBOOK PAGE and share it will all your friends. You can't just use "younique" only in the name. You must specify that you are an Independent Younique Presenter. So, "Younique by Lindsay" is okay.
One of the best things you can do is to post something on your profile. Take a photo of you with the lashes on OR use another photo from our photo gallery. On your post don't write too much info!!! This is REALLY important. You want to peak your friends curiosity so they will ask more questions. Here's an example of what to write:
"Just discovered this super cool product that makes my lashes look awesome! I'm in love!!!! Let me know if you want more info about it. Super cool!!"
6. WRITE DOWN YOUR OWN "30 SEC COMMERCIAL". This will be how you introduce Younique to others. Practice saying it so it is 2nd nature and just rolls off your tongue.
7. MAKE A LIST OF 100. Make a list of everyone you know and start contacting and inviting them to participate with Younique in any of the following ways: joining as a Presenter, hosting a Party, purchasing products, or referring a friend.
Write a star next to or circle those who have a large network or have influence in their circles. These are great people to start with! Invite them to learn more about the business, host a party or try out the products for themselves.
8. BOOK PARTIES
Parties - both online and in person are great ways of marketing and sharing the products. They help you to meet people outside of your immediate circle. Get off to a great start by booking 5-6 parties right away.

2. Make an announcement that you are now a Younique presenter on your Facebook page so everyone knows and can be excited about it with you.
3. Create a Facebook business page and invite all of your friends to "like" the page. Here is a link to directions to create a business page:

5. Order business cards when you're ready from Vistaprint. There is always a code to get a discount on the cards so please do NOT pay full price when you decide to get your cards. I didn't order my cards for a month or so because I didn't want to spend the cash right away, but I eventually did and I've given them to so many people now!
6. Order blitz cards when you're ready. There are tons of places you are able to get blitz cards from but I saw these done from Monette Reynolds and they look amazing (and have your own face on them). I still have yet to order blitz cards and I've been a presenter for over a month now so don't feel as if you need to order them right away! https://www.facebook.com/monette.Reynolds
7. Get the appropriate tools! If you don’t understand FB (or other social media you want to use) and how it works, get with it! YouTube has a bunch of training videos if you just search “How to ____.” While I’m happy to help you, self-educating is by far the best learning tool. This is a networking business, so add friends and build relationships with them. Some of the people you LEAST suspect will turn in to customers and/or recruits. (I know it can seem awkward to be friends with someone you’ve never met, but get used to it! If you’re worried about people seeing your personal family photos/info, you can change privacy settings on FB for that). My business didn’t start flourishing until I took that step. Also, don’t be afraid to follow up with customers. Following up with customers is how I continue to book parties each month and even recruit more people.
8. Understand how to properly invite prospects about what you have to offer. Think about what YOU saw from me in the first place, and what enticed you or pushed you to join from what I had posted. You should be actively posting about Younique on social media, and even while out with your friends, family, or in public (Heck, a lot of times I go shopping with one eye wearing Fiber Lashes, and the other eye bare. I’ve sold to the Payless Shoe Lady and Little Caesar’s employee!). No need to overkill it, though (because that WILL push people away), but top presenters in the company suggest posting 1-2 times a day about it. They say it takes the average person 14-20 times of exposure to start asking questions about the company/products. Examples of how to do this could be: “I’m having so much fun playing with this makeup!” “I’m wearing xx and xx today and loving how it does xxx to me!” “I just spoiled myself with a pedicure from my commissions with Younique!” “I love being able to spend time with the people that matter most while still making money” (while showing a pic of your kids)” etc. Don’t worry about your existing friends/family on FB being annoyed with your posts. True friends will support you. Remember to stay REAL! Still post about other things, but don’t forget about your business!
9. Take selfies!!! Lots and lots of selfies!!! Post them on Facebook of you wearing your magic mascara!
10. Write down your goals! Don't start with something that is too overwhelming and make sure the goal is attainable. Post your goal where you can see it and share it with someone. I would LOVE it if you emailed me your goals and when you reach them each time too! My very first goal was simply to reach $125 in PRS. Remember that everyone has different goals and nobody reaches the same goals at the same pace. No matter what I will be cheering you on with the rest of our team! Get it girls!!!
